Welcome to the website of the Delta Phi Chapter!

 

Greetings, I am Markus Brooks, President of the Distinguished Delta Phi Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated seated at Jackson State University. It is with honor that I serve in this capacity as we plan to continuously develop our fraternal bonds in a way that allows us to enrich brothers with the spirit of Alpha Phi Alpha that we hold so dear to our hearts.

On behalf of our officers and members, it is both a privilege and an honor to greet and welcome you to our virtual home. We are striving to make our website a tool that will provide timely information and help you learn more about the great work being done by this chapter.

Our theme for the 2022-2023 fraternal year is: Leading while  Executing the GOLDEN Standard. With this as a guiding principle, we strive to make tangible, financial and a sustainable impact on the lives of the residents of the communities that we serve in the Jackson community. For 64 years, Delta Phi has strived to make an impact in our community through the successful implementation of the fraternity’s national programs Go-To-High School, Go-To-College; A Voteless People is a Hopeless People; Brother’s Keeper; and Project Alpha. 

In addition, we will focus on nurturing our most precious resources, one of which are our young men of the AMP-UP Mentorship Program, a program that is designed to help inner city African American young men develop values and principles that will allow them to be successful mentally and socially. This objective will be accomplished by providing value-added service and advocacy to aid the less fortunate in our communities. Through the AMP-UP Mentorship Program, we provide young males with positive role models and the information and skills they need for academic success and productive citizenship. Through this program, we have partnerships with the Createthegood.com movement and our graduate chapter, Alpha Epsilon Lambda, seated in Jackson, Ms.
